These terms set out how bookings with Pattaya Taxi Cab work. By confirming a booking with us — by WhatsApp, LINE, phone or email — you agree to the points below. We have written them in plain language so there are no surprises on the day of travel.

1. Booking & confirmation

A request only becomes a firm booking once we reply to confirm it and the agreed fixed fare. Please book at least two days ahead where you can, so we can guarantee the vehicle you want; same-day requests are welcome but always subject to a car being free. When you book, tell us your pickup point, destination, date and time, passenger and luggage count, and your flight number for airport pickups.

2. What the fixed price includes

Fares are quoted per vehicle, not per person, and the price we confirm is the price you pay. Each fare already includes fuel, motorway tolls, VAT and a professional driver. There is no meter and no automatic night surcharge. During the peak season (roughly December to February) some routes may carry a seasonal supplement, but this is always quoted up front, never added afterwards.

3. Payment

The simplest way to pay is cash in Thai baht to the driver at the end of the journey. If you prefer to pay by card we can send a secure payment link; card payments carry a processing fee of 2.9%. We will never ask you to send card numbers or bank details through a chat message.

4. Cancellations & no-shows

  • You may cancel or reschedule a standard transfer free of charge by giving us reasonable notice — ideally the day before travel.
  • If a driver has already been dispatched to your pickup, a call-out charge may apply to cover the trip made.
  • If nobody appears at the pickup point and we cannot reach you, the booking is treated as a no-show and the full fare may be charged.

5. Waiting time & flight tracking

For airport pickups we track your flight, so a delayed arrival does not mean a lost car — the driver adjusts to your real landing time at no extra cost. Reasonable waiting for you to clear immigration and collect baggage is included. For hotel and address pickups the driver will wait a sensible grace period; extended waiting beyond that, or an unplanned long hold, may be charged.

6. Child seats & extra stops

We can fit clean, properly secured child seats for 200 THB each — please tell us the child's age when booking so we bring the right seat. Additional stops added to a route (for example a shop, a second hotel or a quick sightseeing pause) are charged at 300–500 THB per stop depending on the detour.

7. Luggage

Each vehicle class has a stated passenger and luggage capacity, and we match the car to the numbers you give us. If you are travelling with oversized items — golf bags, surfboards, wheelchairs or an unusual amount of luggage — let us know in advance so we can send a vehicle with enough room. Booking too small a car may mean an upgrade is needed on the day.

8. Liability

Our drivers plan sensible margins for airport runs, but we cannot accept responsibility for missed flights or appointments caused by events outside our control — heavy traffic, accidents, road closures, weather or other delays. For flights, we recommend allowing comfortable extra time. Our responsibility is limited to providing the transfer you have booked, and any liability is limited to the value of that booking. Passengers are asked to wear seat belts and to travel considerately; the driver may decline to carry anyone behaving unsafely.
