How much is a taxi from Bangkok to Pattaya?
It is a single fixed fare per vehicle, not per person: 1,300 THB for a private taxi, 1,400 THB for a sedan, 1,500 THB for a Camry, 1,600 THB for an Innova or Fortuner, and 2,200 THB for a nine-seat minivan. The price already covers fuel and every motorway toll, and it does not change at night or on weekends.
How long is the drive from Bangkok to Pattaya?
Plan on about two hours for the 150 km run. We take the Bang Na expressway onto Motorway 7, which bypasses most city traffic. Leaving central Bangkok in the Friday-evening rush or during a long holiday can add 30 to 45 minutes, so we suggest allowing a little buffer if you have a fixed check-in.
Can you collect me from my Bangkok hotel or the airport?
Yes. We pick up from any address in greater Bangkok — Sukhumvit, Silom, Siam, the riverside, Khao San — and directly from Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang arrivals. Send us the hotel name or terminal on WhatsApp and the driver meets you at the lobby or the arrivals hall.
Do I have to pay a deposit in advance?
No deposit is needed for a standard booking. You pay the driver in cash on arrival in Pattaya, or settle by card through a secure payment link if you prefer (a 2.9% processing fee applies to card payments). The fare is agreed in writing before the trip, so there are no surprises.
Is the fare charged per car or per passenger?
Per car. A taxi or sedan seats up to three passengers, the Innova and Fortuner take six, and the minivan carries nine with luggage. There is no per-head charge, so splitting the fixed fare across a group is usually cheaper and far more comfortable than separate seats on a bus.
