North Pattaya has a completely different rhythm to the bright lights further south. Naklua is the older, Thai-Chinese heart of the area — a working fishing community wrapped around a busy morning seafood market, dotted with temples and family restaurants where the day's catch is landed a few metres from your table. A fixed sedan fare from Suvarnabhumi (BKK) starts at 1,000 THB per car, with larger vehicles priced a little higher. North Pattaya is a few minutes beyond the city centre, but the fare is agreed in advance and does not change.
