This policy explains what personal information Pattaya Taxi Cab collects when you book a ride with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep things deliberately simple: we are a private taxi and airport-transfer service, not an advertising business, and we only ask for the details we genuinely need to get you from A to B.
Information we collect
When you contact us by WhatsApp, LINE, WeChat, email or phone, you typically share:
- Your name — so the driver can greet you and prepare a name board for airport meet & greet.
- Contact details — a phone number, WhatsApp number or email address so we can confirm the booking and reach you on the day.
- Trip details — pickup and drop-off points, date and time, flight number where relevant, number of passengers and bags, and any requests such as a child seat or an extra stop.
We do not ask for passport numbers, and we never request card details, bank information or passwords by message. Payment is handled in cash to the driver or through a secure card link provided at the time of payment.
How we use your information
We use the details above for one purpose: to arrange and deliver the transfer you have asked for. That means quoting a fixed fare, confirming the booking, assigning a suitable vehicle and driver, tracking your flight when you send a flight number, and contacting you if anything about the pickup needs to change. We may keep a short record of past bookings so that repeat customers can rebook quickly.
How long we keep it
We retain booking messages and trip details only for as long as they are useful for running the service and resolving any follow-up questions — generally a matter of months rather than years. When information is no longer needed, we delete it. You can ask us to remove your details from our records at any time using the contact address below.
Website analytics
This website uses its own Google Analytics property to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site — for example which pages are popular and which routes are most searched. Analytics is configured with IP-address anonymisation, and the data we see is statistical and not used to identify you personally. We do not run advertising trackers or sell any data to third parties.
Sharing your information
The only person who receives your trip details is the driver assigned to your booking, and only the information needed to complete the journey. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not pass it to marketing companies. We may disclose information if required to do so by law.
Your choices
You are welcome to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Because we collect so little and keep it only briefly, these requests are usually quick to handle.
