There is no watching a meter tick over while you shop, no negotiating a new fare every hour, and no worrying about how to get back from somewhere off the beaten track. How the day rate works
Day hire is priced as a flat rate for the day rather than a by-the-kilometre meter. A standard charter runs 8 to 10 hours and is quoted from a set figure per day, with the exact price depending on the vehicle you choose and how far you plan to travel. Rather than pin a single number to every trip, we prefer to quote your day properly — so request a quote and you will get one clear, all-in figure with fuel already included.

Run late and overtime is added at a set hourly rate, quoted upfront.
Good to know before you book
- ✓ The day rate is per vehicle and all-inclusive of fuel, tolls and driver. It is quoted in full before you confirm, with nothing added at the end of the day.
- ✓ Pay the driver in cash at the end of the day, or by card via a secure link (a 2.9% card fee applies).
- ✓ Book at least two days ahead so we can match the right car and driver to your plan; same-day hire depends on availability.
- ✓ Attraction entrance fees, green fees, ferry tickets and parking outside the agreed area are extra and paid directly by you. Child and booster seats are 200 THB each on request.
- ✓ Trips well beyond Pattaya and Chonburi, or during the December to February peak, may carry an adjusted rate — always quoted upfront, never a surprise.

How many hours and how far does a full day cover? +
A standard full day is 8 to 10 hours from the pickup time, with the car and driver staying with you throughout. Within Pattaya, Jomtien, Naklua and the surrounding Chonburi area there is no tight mileage cap — the day is built around your plan rather than a meter. For longer runs outside the province, such as a day trip toward Rayong or Bangkok, we agree the distance and price beforehand.
What is the day rate for a private driver? +
Because a day charter depends on the vehicle, the number of hours and how far you want to travel, we quote each booking individually rather than posting a single figure. Tell us your date, group size and rough itinerary on WhatsApp and we will send a clear all-in day rate — fuel included — with no hidden extras.
Does the driver wait while I sightsee, shop or play golf? +
Yes. Waiting time during your day is included in the rate — that is the whole point of hiring by the day. The driver parks up while you tour a temple, finish a round of golf or have a long lunch, and is ready at the car whenever you are.
What happens if we run over the agreed hours? +
If the day runs longer than the hours we agreed, overtime is simply added at a fair per-hour rate, quoted before you commit so there is never a surprise. Most guests find a 10-hour day is plenty; if you know in advance you want longer, tell us and we build it into the original quote.
Can one driver take us to several destinations in a day? +
Absolutely — that is what day hire is for. Hop between beaches, viewpoints, a floating market and a rooftop bar, or hotel-hop across resorts, all with the same car and driver. Extra unscheduled stops within your plan are included; a major detour outside the agreed area may add 300–500 THB, always confirmed first.
